1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Esports Hub ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you disagree with any part, you may not access the Platform.

2. User Accounts

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account
• You must provide accurate and truthful information during registration
• You may not use another person's account without permission
• Ghost (comment-only) accounts are restricted to commenting only

3. Prohibited Conduct

You agree NOT to:

• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Harass, abuse, or threaten other users
• Submit fake kill records or tournament results
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose
• Spam, phish, or distribute malware
• Impersonate another user, staff member, or Esports Hub
• Manipulate voting, reactions, or rankings through automated means

4. Tournament Rules

• All tournament registrations are subject to organiser approval
• Organiser-submitted tournaments require admin approval before going live
• Match results must be accurate; cheating or result manipulation leads to permanent ban
• Prize pool distributions are the responsibility of the tournament organiser
• Esports Hub is not liable for disputes between organisers and participants

5. Content Policy

• You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a licence to display it
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms
• News articles are subject to editorial review and moderation
• Banned teams may not create new accounts to evade bans

6. Staff & Moderation

Esports Hub employs various staff roles (News Moderators, Ban Staff) who have authority to moderate content, manage bans, and enforce these Terms. Staff decisions may be appealed via the Contact form.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not responsible for data loss or service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Esports Hub shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Banned users may appeal via the Contact form. We are not obligated to maintain accounts for users who breach our policies.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated via the Platform. Continued use after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable laws. Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
